Our Visual Fleet Platform (AI and Computer Vision powered) delivers a digital bridge between vessels at sea and teams ashore. We equip shipowners, managers, and seafarers with advanced tools to perform their tasks in a safer and more productive manner.  

Position Description

The Product Manager will be part of our Computer Vision Scrum team, which focuses on core activities such as event detection from on-vessel video and integrating business insights from various sources. This role involves collaboration with computer vision developers, ML & AI engineers, and software developers to ensure seamless team operations and product alignment. The Product Manager is instrumental in driving the end-to-end success of our products, from enhancing existing features to developing new ones, all while maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

The PM will report directly to the VP Product, he is a member of the CV Scrum team in Boston and of the global PM team. As we are continuously evolving we may offer future career opportunities in the field of: Product, marketing and business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master the technical aspects of our products to effectively collaborate with developers, researchers, designers, and operational teams.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to present status updates, research findings, and strategic recommendations.
  • Engage with industry segments to identify customer pain points and market opportunities through research, user testing, and data analysis, promoting optimal user experience.

Qualifications / Experiences

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years in a product management role
  • Experience in one of the following industries: maritime, industrial, construction, operations or manufacturing 
  • Hands-on experience working and delivering business results in a fast-paced and evolving environment of a tech startup
  • Successful launching/iterating on enterprise software
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.) preferred (MSc, PhD, MBA, nice to have).

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking mindset, curiosity, and hunger for knowledge
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), research, and coordination skills
